First 100 Days: Day-One Priorities
Change doesn’t happen overnight — but it can start on day one. When I take office, my focus will be on action that residents can see and feel immediately. These are practical, commonsense steps that will set the tone for a new kind of leadership in Dupont: open, fair, and focused on the people who live here.
1. Open the Books
Within my first 100 days, I’ll publish a plain-language borough budget online so every resident can see exactly where money is going. No jargon, no hidden lines — just clear, honest accounting of your tax dollars.
2. Housing & Tenant Protections
I’ll work with council to begin drafting anti-retaliation protections so no tenant in Dupont has to fear losing their home just for exercising their rights. At the same time, I’ll review our housing codes to make sure enforcement stays strong while paperwork gets easier for both landlords and renters.
3. Safer Streets, Right Away
We’ll launch a borough-wide safety audit to identify priority repairs: potholes, broken sidewalks, crosswalks near schools, and stormwater trouble spots. At the same time, I’ll direct immediate attention to truck traffic, vehicle noise, and late-night racing on Route 315 and Ziglear Street — because families deserve peace and safety in their own homes.
4. Senior & Veteran Support
I’ll establish a Senior & Veteran Help Desk at Borough Hall, with staff trained to connect residents directly to resources at the county, state, and federal levels. No one should have to dig through paperwork just to get the help they earned.
5. Digital City Hall
We’ll roll out the first version of an online 311 system where residents can report issues like missed trash or code complaints from their phone — and track the response. This will be the first step in moving Dupont away from paper everything and toward a modern, transparent government.
6. Transparency & Accountability
I’ll hold the first of many quarterly town halls within 100 days, open to all residents, where anyone can ask questions and get real answers. No backroom deals, no politics as usual — just neighbors talking to neighbors.
The first 100 days are about setting the standard: a borough that’s fair, transparent, and willing to fight for its people. From safe streets to fair housing, from digital tools to senior support, every step will be focused on one thing:
Dupont First. Every Decision.
